Bristol Speaking Clock

Online Speaking Clock, Promotional and advertising site for web design from Bristol PC. Shown is the classic earth from space in the Nasa Clock.

Actual sized screen shot. Floating centered design using dynamic html to generate the clock hands and embedded mp3 multi media for audio.

With a large number of themed clock face photos. The Bristol clock, Australian clock and the Ancient Egypt clock.

Non commercial site for diabetic's in Bristol, magazine multi column style format. Page shown is from the Bristol Docks Walk page.

Bristol Docks Walk page

Simple text navigation links, keyboard shortcuts and high contrast text and background to improve accessibility.

Fixed width design centred to display in the middle of the screen area. Suitable for viewers using both the more modest and older 800x600 pixel resolution monitors and the larger high resolution monitors on modern PC's.

On the home and local pages there is a list of meetings and events. These using dynamic HTML to always shows the next two events or meetings without having to amend the page after each event or meeting occurs.

A floating style centralised with a maximum width of 770 pixels. On smaller width windows text and images 'float' to fit the window, although there is a limit to the window widths it displays on without a left right scroll bar.
