Sutton Theatre Co.

Ticket order form for the Sutton Theatre Company's productions. A very low cost ecommerce option. A two page site showing here the contact information form on the first page.

Clicking on the 'payment page' sends an email with the form data to a adminstrator and takes you to the payments page.

The payments page lets you select the number of tickets and pay with debit/credit card or PayPal account on a secure website (PayPal).

I must note this is not suitable for high volume sales. The contact form sent by email must also be matched to the Paypal payment, to ensure payment has been made.

PayPal's charges are based on a small fixed payment, 20p when I write this plus a percentage of the sales transaction value, with no other payment required.

The Sutton Theatre Company is a long running and popular local theatre in North Somerset. So I don't claim this website deserves the credit for the sell out of all tickets 5 weeks before the first performance with this website online. I do however note that over 1/3 of all tickets were sold via this website in the first production with this website online.

EXB Knorr Compressor Catalogue

Online catalogue of original equipment and aftermarket Knorr Bremse air compressor parts for trucks and buses. Shown below the top of the rather long Volvo page on air compressors for Volvo trucks.

Select lists of bus and truck manufacturers at the top of each page make good use of available space, avoiding having a rather clumsy menu of 20 pages at the top of page.

Potential buyers do search for part numbers, manufacturers and models so for niche markets, this may be a highly commercial option.

Deal or no Deal Simulation

Purely for fun and to keep my hand in with moderately complex dynamic html I wrote the Deal or no Deal simulation. This interactive simulation shows the deal or no deal average box by box.

Okay I was curious too, how did the bankers offer compare against the deal or no deal board average?

A tiny two page web site (with UK and US versions of DOND) - everything the whole web site is under 23K, so its very quick to load.
